The active ingredient in Avance CardioZyme is Nattokinase, an enzyme. Enzymes are pH-sensitive and can be denatured by our gastric juices. Therefore, we use a patented technology to encapsulate Nattokinase so that it can be delivered to the intestines where it can be absorbed. Chewing or breaking open the microcapsules will cause the enzymes to be denatured by our gastric juices, compromising its effects.
