We recommend using Skin Glow T3 with Skinrecon T4. Both products are formulated to complement each other. Skin Glow T3 stimulates microexfoliation at the skin surface and encourages skin renewal while Skinrecon T4 strengthens the skin and nourishes our skin cells. Both work together to give our skin a healthy looking glow.
For beginners, we recommend to mix Skin Glow T3 and Skinrecon T4 together and apply, observing how your skin responds. When skin is more stable, you may opt to use T3 and T4 separately for more intensive treatment. You may consult your skin buddy for advice on the routine that will best suit your current skin condition.
Yes, some people may experience a slight tingling sensation and it is normal. Skin Glow T3 contains high concentration of actives, which stimulate microexfoliation to encourage skin renewal. This tingling sensation is a normal skin physiological response to the sensory stimulation. If you have dry and dehydrated skin, this tingling sensation might be slightly stronger as your skin absorbs the product at a faster rate. You may experience tingling sensation as well if you have chapped or inflamed skin that is not always visible to the eyes.
Skin Glow T3 is suitable for most skin types. However, care should be taken when using Skin Glow T3 on sensitive skin. We recommend sensitive skin types to start with a conditioning routine and move on to use more intensive products like Skin Glow T3 when skin is more stable.
If you are concerned about sensitivity, make sure to do a sensitivity test first by applying the product at the back of your ear or the inside of your arm to detect any signs of reaction or allergy. This can help reduce the chance of irritation.
Skin Glow T3 is formulated with a blend of botanical extracts. As the botanical extracts are from natural plants, there may be some natural colour variances between harvests. It is normal to observe colour variances between batches.
The natural colour pigments in these botanical extracts also naturally darken overtime. As no colourant is added into the formula, the natural colour change of the plant pigments become observable. The colour of Skin Glow T3 may range from light yellow to darker brown. Nonetheless, this does not affect product quality and efficacy.
Skin Glow T3 is rich in botanical extracts and changes in temperature or air pressure may cause temporary crystallisation or insolubility. This is a normal occurrence and product quality and efficacy are not affected.

Yes. Skin Glow T3 helps stimulate microexfoliation and encourages skin renewal. As skin cells renew, it also halts the production of melanin at the source. Skinrecon T4 comes in to nourish these skin cells to promote brighter and more even skin tone. With regular use, dark spots may appear lighter over time.
Yes. DR's Secret products are suitable for long-term use. Many of our users have been with us since the founding days of our brand and are still using DR’s Secret products today.
We do not use ingredients containing hormones or steroids in our products. Our products are tested annually by SGS Taiwan Ltd. for hormones, steroids and a panel of 300 odd western drugs to ensure that no contaminants are present in our product formulas.

You should see noticeable improvements approximately 1 month after consistent application. Our skin cells require at least 28 days to go through a full renewal cycle (this period may extend with age) and we encourage consistent use for 3 to 6 months to see significant results.

Yes. We strongly recommend to apply sunscreen liberally after using any brightening product or product rich in botanical extracts in the morning. Apply ample amount of sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure after applying Skin Glow T3 in the day.
Skin Glow T3 is formulated with fruit and botanical extracts, which inherently contain AHA and BHA. The European Comission and US FDA recommend the use of sunscreen and limiting sun exposure while using products containing AHA as a form of precaution. We recommend users to always wear adequate sunscreen during the day, taking more care to do so when applying Skin Glow T3.

The dosage of AHA and BHA present in Skin Glow T3 are within present practices of use and concentrations as recommended by internationally recognised cosmetic regulations and guidelines such as the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR). Under the CIR, a panel of experts known as the Expert Panel for Cosmetic Ingredient Safety independently assesses and reviews the safety of ingredients in cosmetics. There have also not been any safety assessments to declare AHA and BHA in skin care as unsafe for pregnancy under normal conditions of use.
AHA presence is also listed on the product label according to regulatory requirements. As each individual's condition is different and every pregnancy is unique, we will recommend that you check and get your doctor's opinion for a peace of mind. If you are allergic to or concerned about certain ingredients, always check the product label.
Both Kojic Acid and Vitamin C are antioxidants proven to have the ability to reduce melanin formation. There is no sufficient evidence to show that Kojic Acid and Vitamin C should not be used together. For new users, we always encourage not to start with too many different products. When you wish to add some new products into your existing routine, try incorporating them one at a time, adjust the dosage accordingly and observe how your skin responds to it.
